María Clara Alonso is an Argentine actross, singer, dancer and television hostess. She was born in Rosario, Argentina on the 2nd of February in 1990.

Her mother is a pediatrician and pulmonary specialist and her father is an engineer. She has two younger brothers, Agustín and Ignacio.

When she was two years old, she and her family moved to Capitán Bermúdez, which is a smaller city outside of Rosario.

Clara moved to Buenos Aires with her family when she was eight years old.

Since childhood she practiced gymnastics, swimming, dance, musical theater, singing, and acting.

She also played field hockey and volleyball, but at the age of eight, she quit field hockey and asked her parents to enroll her in musical comedy classes at "Broadway Street" an acting school in Buenos Aires. In ,,Broadway Street'', she participated in several plays such as Alice in Wonderland in the Astral theater.

She graduated highschool from Institute Inmaculada de Castelar, in Buenos Aires.

When she was 19, she moved out of her parents' house and now lives in Buenos Aires.

Her nickname is Clari.
